Georg Baselitz - Photos by Edward Quinn
A difficult moment for a painter. Baselitz is standing in front of a canvas, thinking about the work he will start. Baselitz often made big paintings and prepared the canvas himself. He found a very old neglected castle in Derneburg which he renovated and which offered enough room for his big paintings. Holle 1987.
