At the Cannes Film Festival in 1953, the film "Le Salaire de la Peur", directed by Georges Clouzot was shown. Present at the première were Edward G. Robinson., Ann Baxter, greeted by Orson Welles (hidden) and Françoise Gilot (on left) who came with Pablo Picasso.
