Team

Quinn’s nephew Wolfgang Frei, who inherited the Archive in 2011, and his wife Ursula, both former journalists, are the owners of Edward Quinn Archive AG. Since 2006, they have overseen the extensive portfolio with the help of their son Tim, a journalist. 

Wolfgang worked with his uncle “Ted” Quinn on numerous book and film projects and was a frequent guest of the Quinns, staying with them almost every year at their house in Nice on the Côte d’Azur.

• Born May 6, 1948, married to Ursula Frei, father of Tim
• While studying (History and Journalism), internship at Swiss Television
• 1972–1974: Hayek Consulting – co-author of the study “Structure and Function of the SRG Governing Body”
• 1974–1975: Staff member, Training Department, Swiss Television
• 1976–1984: Editor, Swiss Television DRS; for 6 years head of the program Karussell
• 1984–1987: Member of the Executive Board, film production company Blackbox AG
• 1987–1993: Head of Rincovision (video and TV production of the Ringier publishing house)
• Since 1993: Editorial Director of NZZ Format, the television program of the Neue Zürcher Zeitung
