Pablo Picasso working on two plasters of "Centaure". With Jean Ramié. La Californie, Cannes 1956.

In his studio at the Villa La Californie, Pablo Picasso hunched over a cluttered table, his hands carefully manipulating two plaster models of his "Centaure" sculpture. At his side, Jean Ramié leans in to closely observe the artist's work. The room is filled with evidence of intense creative activity; the walls are covered with Cubist paintings and drawings, and various finished and unfinished canvases are visible in the background. Cannes, 1956.
