
One day Quinn asked Pablo Picasso if he could photograph the top floor studios. He agreed and prcoeeded to take out, one by one, old and new paintings from his collection. This work Pablo Picasso remembered Quinn photographed in 1955 during filming of "Le mystère Picasso" (see Pic551009 - Pic551013). Mas Notre-Dame-de-Vie, Mougins 1967.
At his home, Mas Notre-Dame-de-Vie in Mougins, Pablo Picasso presents paintings from his personal collection to Edward Quinn in 1967. Dressed in a patterned shirt and dark trousers, the artist holds a large Cubist work he recalled Quinn photographing in 1955 during the filming of "Le mystère Picasso." In the courtyard, numerous other canvases are stacked against a stone wall, some marked on the back with handwritten dates.
