At the 1960 Monaco Grand Prix, driver-owner-constructor Lance Reventlow prepares for trial laps during the much-awaited European debut of his Scarab cars. Seated in the cockpit of the number 10 car, his face set in concentration, he listens as a man leans in to speak with him. The polished metallic body of the open-wheel racer features a unique turtle graphic below the cockpit. Notably, the car is fitted with seat belts, a safety feature not yet common in Grand Prix racing at the time.
