Bao Dai, the last Emperor of Vietnam, smiles as he exits his Bentley Mark VI in Cannes, 1953. Following his exile to France, he is seen here in a light-colored suit and sunglasses as an attendant holds open the rear-hinged door of the dark Standard Steel Sports Saloon. The car was delivered to the emperor in 1950. To the left, another man observes the scene, while a woman with dark hair is visible in the passenger seat.
