Luis Miguel Dominguin. Corrida Nimes 1960. A bullfight Picasso attended (see "Picasso").
In the bullring of Nîmes, matador Luis Miguel Dominguin, clad in an ornate suit of lights, faces a charging bull. He holds a muleta low in his left hand, guiding the animal's path as it kicks up a cloud of dust. Banderillas are visible in the bull's back and shoulders. This 1960 corrida was also attended by Pablo Picasso.
