Pablo Picasso working with the help of Hidalgo Arnéra on linogravure rehaussée, the so called épreuves rincées (rinsed proofs). Mas Notre-Dame-de-Vie, Mougins 1964.

In a tiled bathroom at Mas Notre-Dame-de-Vie, Pablo Picasso works with printer Hidalgo Arnéra on a technique for enhanced linocuts known as *épreuves rincées* (rinsed proofs). Arnéra leans over the bathtub, which serves as an improvised basin, rinsing the rectangular proofs with a handheld shower head as Picasso looks on. On a nearby table, a large sheet of paper shows a faint, wet impression from the process. Mougins, 1964.
