Moss and Collins were friends from 1949, Hawthorn came on the scene sometime later, and by 1958 all were first rank Grand Prix and sports car drivers.   • The slowest time, approximately ten minutes, was recorded by Brabham, who pushed his (14) Cooper T43 from the tunnel all the way to the finishing line with a faulty fuel pump.
